Mastercard Zero Liability Protection means you won’t be held responsible for unauthorized purchases on your debit card when you report them promptly. This protection applies to most fraudulent transactions, including online fraud, card-not-present transactions, and counterfeit cards. Zero Liability does not apply to business card accounts or certain PIN-based transactions. You must report unauthorized transactions within the timeframes specified in your EFT Agreement to maintain full protection. See your EFT Agreement for complete details.

It’s important to review your statements regularly and report any unauthorized transactions immediately. Under federal law and your EFT Agreement, your liability may be limited to $50 if you report within 2 business days of discovering the loss or theft, or up to $500 if you report within 60 days. Report unauthorized transactions as soon as you notice them to ensure you have maximum protection.
